EMS stands for Electronics Manufacturing Services. An EMS company helps OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) manufacture electronic products and assemblies, typically covering PCB assembly, testing, supply chain management, box-build, cable assemblies, and after-sales support. At GPV, EMS is part of a broader offering that also includes in-house mechanics, cable-harness, product and application design, and test development.

Mechanics manufacturing refers to the production of mechanical parts and assemblies used in electronic and mechatronic products, such as metal and structural components, enclosures, brackets, and integrated mechanical subassemblies. In an EMS context, mechanics manufacturing helps combine electronics and mechanical parts into a more complete product solution.

A cable harness, also known as a wire harness, wiring harness, cable assembly, wiring assembly or wiring loom, is an assembly of electrical cables or wires, which transmit signals or electrical power. The cables are bound together by a durable material such as rubber, vinyl, electrical tape, conduit, a weave of extruded string, or a combination thereof. GPV offers cable assemblies and cable-harness solutions as part of its one-stop EMS setup.

Box-build is the assembly of a complete product beyond the printed circuit board. It can include enclosures, wiring, cable harnesses, electromechanical assembly, testing, labels, manuals, and final packaging.
