As a global EMS outsourcing partner it is important for GPV that our customers and business partners can rest assured that we act with respect for the world we are a part of.

GPV has defined a policy of Corporate Social Responsibility, which shows how GPV relates to a wide range of topics within this area, including health, safety and environment. Continuous measurements are carried out to ensure a gradual improvement of all areas.

We have also specified various human rights issues. Observance of human rights is a matter of course to GPV as well as one of the conditions we must fulfill to observe TLS 8001 (The Thai Labor Standard) and the UN Global Compact. This implies that we condemn discrimination and child labor and uphold employees' rights to organize.

GPV Group’s Code of Conduct is also a part of our CSR policy. It describes that we do not accept bribes and that we expect our employees to inform our Executive Board if any violation of the mentioned principles has been found.

Business Continuity Plan

 

As EMS outsourcing partner and supplier of expensive and complicated devices, GPV establishes strong and binding relationships with our customers.

This commits GPV to ensure our customers' deliveries, even if a serious incident should occur at one of our production sites.

Our Business Continuity Planning includes:

  • A guide for the local recovery teams
  • Procedures and responsibilities needed to assist with recovery
  • Alternate sources for key supplies, resources and locations
  • Guidance to documents storage, safeguarding and retrieval procedures for vital records

Threat analysis

The analysis phase for developing the Business Continuity Planning for GPV consists of threat analysis, consequence analysis and consequence scenarios.

Categories defined and considered during the threat analysis:

  • Fire
  • Flood
  • Storm/hurricane
  • Earthquake
  • Cyber-attack
  • Sabotage (internal or external)
  • Terrorism
  • Theft (any kind)
  • Disease

Consequence analysis

Our consequence analysis is rated for “consequence” and “probability” using the categories “Very High”, “High”, “Medium”, “Low” and “Very Low” – presented in a color form for overview.

To facilitate an assessment of the impacts on an objective scale, the consequences are rated in relation to possible production stop for a shorter or longer period.

Likewise, to assess the probabilities, these are rated on a time scale related to the frequency of occurrence.
