The GPV History

 

1961       GPV (Glostrup Plade Værksted or in english Glostrup Sheet Metal Shop) is founded by Knud W. Hansen in Glostrup, Denmark
     
1979   GPV establish production in Tarm, Denmark
     
1986   GPV is listed at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange
     
1990   GPV acquires Davidsen & Dühring, Denmark
     
1995   GPV acquires Elbau Contracting Manufacturing and Lyngsø Manufacturing, Denmark
     
1998   GPV acquires Sieker Print, Danprint and Nordplast, Denmark
     
1999   GPV establishes production in Bangkok, Thailand
     
2000   GPV takes over production units from Esko-Graphics in Switzerland and Denmark
     
2002   GPV takes over mechanic production unit from ABB in Norway
     
2003   GPV acquires the PCB plants Chemitalic and Printca
     
2005   GPV establishes new factory in China: GPV Printed Circuits (Suzhou)
     
2009  

GPV sells GPV Danprint to Mekoprint A/S, Denmark
 

GPV exit PCB manufacturing
GPV Group is reorganized and GPV International becomes the new mother company.
